Leaseholder Library
Welcome to the Leaseholder Library
ARMA self-service library offers guidance to leaseholders. We would recommend that you view the documents available to see if they can assist.
If they do not, or you require further information then please contact the Leasehold Advisory Service at info@lease-advice.org. They are a government funded body who are able to assist you and they provide free information, initial advice and guidance to members of the public about residential leasehold. They are independent and impartial and all of their advisers are legally qualified.

Freehold Management Enquiries form (FME1)
A new edition of the FME1 form went live on 11.01.22. The new form is available to download in the left margin of this page.
The Freehold Management Enquiries (FME1) form is on its second version and contains a number of additional questions including who deals with the deed of covenant, on contributions to the service charge, and access to insurance.
You can download the FME1 form above. Please note that this is a ‘fillable’ PDF; which means you can fill out the information required on the form by typing in the information while the form is displayed on your screen.
Organisations which have collaborated, fed into the creation of the FME1 form included the Law Society, Conveyancing Association, CILEX, Society of Licenced Conveyancers as well as ARMA, ARHM, BPF, IRPM, RTMF and ARLA.
This group of organisations and trade bodies will enter into a memorandum of understanding so that they jointly hold the copyright, with the form both freely available and available for free, to those who wish to use it but without the ability to alter the questions or format.
Regular reviews of the form’s contents will take place to ensure it remains current.
