ARMA, the leading trade association for residential leasehold management, announced today that it has become an official supporter of the Property Management Awards, organised by News on the Block.

ARMA joins other official supporters, the British Property Federation (BPF), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Federation of Private Residents Associations (FPRA). Now in its fifth year, the Property Management Awards are firmly established in the industry calendar, providing recognition of excellence in this important part of the property sector.

Michelle Banks, chief executive of ARMA said: ARMA is very pleased to be a supporter of this event which is already a significant date in the diaries of many of our members. We share with our fellow supporters and with News on the Block the objective of raising professional standards in block management and this is an excellent way of promoting good practice in the profession.

Nicolas Shulman, publisher of News on the Block, said: We are delighted to welcome ARMA as an official supporter of the Property Management Awards. The Awards have grown exponentially since they first began in 2009, and ARMA members have regularly featured on the winners rostrum over the years. The event attracts companies from all over England & Wales and with growing numbers each year this ceremony is now well established in the leasehold industry.

The Property Management Awards will be held on 5th December 2013 at The Troxy in London. There are 16 categories including managing agent of the year, property manager of the year and concierge of the year. Award winners will be announced and presented with their trophies at a black tie event which includes a three-course meal, celebrity host and after dinner entertainment.
