Nigel joined ARMA as Chief Executive Officer in April 2016 following a varied and highly successful career in senior executive positions, including a software business start-up, investment banking, and co-founder and director for a residential property management firm. Nigel’s main responsibility is the longer term strategy and direction of ARMA and representing the Association to the outside world, particularly concerning legislation and policy.

As Chief Operating Officer, Noella is responsible for the day-to-day management of ARMA, the overall performance of the organisation and delivery of services to members.

Geraldine Shortall FIRPM

Technical Officer - Part time

Geraldine provides technical support and help to ARMA members, associates and affiliates, on day to day management issues. She also sits on the Ombudsman Services: Property Sector Liaison Panel and generally interacts with other trade and professional bodies such as the IRPM, RICS, the Property Ombudsman & Property Redress Scheme. Geraldine is responsible for overseeing all membership and affiliate status applications and devising and ensuring delivery of appropriate training courses.

Helen Christie FIRPM, AssocRics

Technical Officer - currently on maternity leave

A major part of Helen's role is to provide direct technical support to ARMA members, associates and affiliates, their clients and leaseholders (by telephone and email) on day to day management issues. She is also heavily involved in producing and reviewing ARMA's Guidance Notes for members and Lessee Advisory Notes for leaseholders. Helen also acts as Principal for ARMAs Technical Committee, Health & Safety Forum and other working groups. Helen has taken a lead in the ARMA-Q project, establishing Standards, accreditation audit processes and compliance procedures. Helen is currently on maternity leave.


Projects Manager

Yen has overall responsibilities for ARMA's events, training courses, AGM, members' dinner and conference. She also books advertising in ARMA's newsletter and manages the distribution of the weekly members' circulars.

Sharon Corette AIRPM

PA to Chief Operating Officer

Sharon offers PA support to ARMA's Chief Operating Officer. She also acts as Clerk to the Council; collating agenda papers, attending meetings and taking minutes.

Diana West

Membership Officer

Diana looks after the membership services at ARMA. She deals with member and affiliate application requests and manages the applications once they have been submitted. She also manages the membership renewal process. If you have a question about joining ARMA, Diana can help.

Karen Finnon

PA to Chief Executive Officer

Karen offers PA support to ARMA’s Chief Executive Officer. She also assists with new initiatives to improve the Association’s membership benefits.

Sean Cahill

Communications & Marketing Manager

Sean is responsible for managing ARMA’s communications and marketing activities, including AQD (the quarterly newsletter for ARMA members), social media, website, publications and relations with the local, national and trade press. For all press and communications queries, Sean is the first point of contact.

Jane Forsyth AssocRics, FIRPM

Clerk to the Regulatory Panel

As the Clerk to the Regulatory Panel Jane deals with complaints and disciplinary matters for referral to the Regulatory Panel. She also produces our weekly members' circular.

Susannah Dora Majlati

Susannah looks after ARMA's Finance Department and administers the financial processes within the organisation. She takes responsibility for organising the financial and accounting affairs, including ARMAs Bookkeeping and supports our external accountancy advisor in the preparation and presentation of appropriate accounts and the provision of financial information for the Secretariat.
